The formation of The Rural Animal Alliance (Incorporated since 2017) grew out of a need to give voice to the small farmers and hobbyists whose interests have been subjected to the attacks of animal rights groups bent on yielding a society bereft of the culture, economic benefit and personal growth those small farms and backyard flocks have afforded since the birth of the United States.
For far too long, statutes and regulations have been propounded that still those voices and drive many to give up their preferred lifestyle AND culture. RLA seeks to bring those voices together nationally to defend and protect that lifestyle and culture against those who confound animal welfare with “animal rights”, and use their considerable power and financial backing to gain an overabundance of influence at the congressional level.
